Ask Leslie Zindulka, our Adoption Social Worker ?

Ms. Leslie Zindulka, L.C.S.W.-R is a New York State licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in the adoption field.  She received her undergraduate degree in Social Welfare from SUNY Stony Brook and her Masters of Social Work degree from Columbia University.

Additionally, she holds a school social worker specialty credential. She is an active volunteer with Adoptive Parents Groups and speaks regularly at workshops.  She has also volunteered her services to families participating in a Russian-orphan summer camp program. Ms. Zindulka writes a monthly column, for an adoption web site and limits her practice to adoption home studies. Her clients include married couples, singles, step–parents and those over forty.

Ms. Zindulka has both personal and professional adoption experiences. Her interest in adoption began while still in graduate school, where she interned in a foster care agency.  Seeing children with no hope of permanency touched her. While working in the public school system, Ms. Zindulka has had the opportunity to work with many domestically and internationally adopted children. She and her husband are the proud parents of three children, two of whom were adopted domestically.  She brings this unique expertise and understanding of the adoption roller coaster ride to her work.  After adopting, she left the educational field to pursue her passion to help people attain their dreams of completing their forever family through adoption.
